All Duvent jewellery is handcrafted with care and the longevity of all jewellery is important to us. Sometimes even with good care, general wear and tear can leave your jewellery needing a little love so I decided to give you some tips on how to keep and help your jewellery happy for longer.
You should store your jewellery individually in your jewellery box to prevent them from rubbing together, in individual pouches, wrapped in tissue or use the compartments in your jewellery box.
Keep your jewellery awayfrom perfumes, hairspray and lotions. Chemicals can discolour and damage your jewellery, specially chlorine. Never wear your jewellery in the shower or when swimming.
Sometimes your jewellery might oxidize if not been worn for some time or even when being worn, it is pretty common, if that does happen you can get a silver polishing cloth easy to find in any supermarket to bring it back to life. However, I offer a professional cleaning, repair or alteration for a small fee.
